Hendricks County Pride
Our mission is to create an affirming, safe, inclusive space for the LGBTQIA+ community. Founded by local LGBTQIA+ residents and while HCP often partners with other organizations, we are an independent organization. We work to build community partnerships, raise awareness, advocate for safer practices and policies, and to foster a community of belonging for everyone in Hendricks County.
LGBTQ+ community growth
1 in 6 Gen Z'ers identify openly as LGBTQ+. As Hendricks County continues to grow as rapidly as it is, the LGBTQ+ community will grow right alongside it. We have a duty to our residents, to our youth, and to ourselves to work to create a community that is welcoming to everyone, equally.

Hendricks County Pride wants to partner with community members, leaders, and businesses to foster an environment of inclusion and acceptance. We'd like to see businesses celebrate pride right alongside us, to sponsor our events, and to work to ensure their workplace practices and environment are also places of acceptance and inclusion
